Planning and Resources Committee (PRC)
Remit
This committee's primary purpose is to assist departments and units of the division in their strategic planning across academic, financial, space, staffing, and IT issues. It also has a key role in reviewing in detail annual budgets and income generation in the division. It provides a first response to key consultations and initiatives from within the University or from external bodies.It reports to the Social Sciences Board. The ICT sub-committee reports to the Planning and Resources Committee.
Membership
The membership consists of the heads of all the departments in the division. The committee is chaired by the Head of Division and the Divisional Secretary acts as secretary.
Meetings
The committee meets twice each term, on Friday of Noughth and Fifth Week.
