Interdisciplinary meetups for social sciences researchers
If you have found the weekly sessions useful then this is a must; The Academic Writing Community Bootcamp - the perfect way to finish off the term! First-timers are also most welcome.
You are welcome to work on your thesis or an academic paper, but writers only, please: this is not a space for doing your actual research.
This event is open to DPhil students and research staff of the Social Sciences Division
From the host, Wesam:
Congratulations for all of us on making it this far in MT 20. Join us for a writing boot camp before the Christmas holidays. We will have 5 writing sessions together and one peer to peer discussion session on a piece of your own writing. This bonus “discussion session” will give you a chance to get a second opinion from a fellow member in our community. A fresh perspective and a second pair of eyes that might animate you to further develop your piece. We guarantee refreshing breaks between the writing sessions, that would energize you to write your first draft or lighten up the rewriting blues of that third draft! Let’s give it one more shot to test our writing stamina and connect with each other’s during the term break.
