Later this term the Social Sciences Division is hosting a lunchtime workshop to explore our divisional approach to IT governance. We have directly invited members of SSD IT Forum, members of SSD IT Staff group, and our divisional representatives on University IT committees, but any colleagues interested in this area of work are welcome.
In this workshop we will look at the current approach to IT oversight in SSD and whether this should be refreshed in the context of changes elsewhere in the University. We are putting together a pack of information and an agenda to distribute ahead of the session, which will include topics such as: the University IT Strategic Plan; discussions around governance at University IT Committee; our current meeting structure of the IT Forum and IT Staff group (and divisional PRC); the approach in other divisions. If you have suggestions for other areas of discussion we would be grateful to receive them.
This meeting will be held over a lunchtime slot at Hayes House and lunch will be provided. If you would like to attend, please contact Peter Franklin Routh (email@example.com).
