A key component of becoming a successful academic researcher is the ability to win funding for your research. Grant writing is a particular style of writing and persuasion to ensure your research stands out amongst the increasingly large and competitive crowd.
The workshop is aimed at 3rd Year + DPhil Students and all research staff of: Social Sciences Division. The session will provide you with:
- Top tips for successful bidding and collaboration.
- Understanding of project planning and appropriate resourcing.
- Experience of developing research ideas for multi-disciplinary projects.
- Bid writing practice in a supportive environment.
