Administrative Assistant, (Academic Appointments and HR)
I am HR Manager within the Social Sciences Division and the School of Geography and the Environment. I manage operational and strategic/policy issues in a dedicated role for one of the division's largest departments, and provide HR Business Partner support for a range of the division's other departments. Along with the HR Business Partner team, I provide suppot to departments in all matters regarding HR policy, including recruitment and selection procedures, organisational change, equal opportunites, induction, development, grading and remuneration, emplyee relations and general issues relating to employment law. Formally, we report to University Personnel Services, but we are located at Hayes House and we work with the division and its departments to understand their business objectives and provide suppot and advice, whilst managing any associated risks.
