Social informatics and voting

Many scientists are critical about the recent push by governments to move our voting process online. Changes in the method (and ritual) of voting might lead to changes in the outcome of the electoral process, such as legitimization and accountability of the representative democracy.  Dr Anne-Marie Oostveen of the Oxford Internet Institute discussed the broader social implications of electronic voting.
