Skills and Resources

There is a wide range of resources and training to support researchers at all career stages across the University. In addition, the Division provides a range of briefings on specific funding schemes, workshops to develop external funding applications, and expert seminars relating to research-related issues (such as Open Access, REF, and Impact and Engagement). These can be tailored to suit all career stages.

In addition, the Division provides an array of tools, resources and skills development sessions and briefings for doctoral students, many of which are tailored to the social sciences.

Call for training proposals

Do you want to run some training? Do you have skills and experience you want to share with other researchers? Is there someone you would like to bring in to run sessions?

The Social Sciences Divisional Office welcomes applications from individuals to run training courses as part of the Division’s Research and Skills Training Programme and Knowledge Exchange and Impact training for DPhil students, early career research staff and mid-career researchers.

Please complete this form and return to us. If you are wanting to run something in Michaelmas term then please get the form back to us by the 1 September 2015 for your proposal to be considered.
