Head of Division, Professor Dame Sarah Whatmore, appointed DBE in New Year's Honours

Many congratulations to our Head of Division, Professor Dame Sarah Whatmore, who has been appointed DBE in the New Year's Honours list 2020 for services to the study of environmental policy.

Professor of Environment and Public Policy at the School of Geography and the Environment, Dame Sarah is also an elected Fellow of the British Academy, the Academy of Social Sciences and the Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers).
