Support for app-based contact tracing of COVID-19

Johannes Abeler, Séverine Toussaert and colleagues in the Department of Economics have been exploring public attitudes across the UK, US, France, Germany and Italy to the prospect of a contact-tracing app to combat the spread of COVID-19.

Their findings suggest that the majority of people in all five countries would definitely or probably install a contact tracing app for coronavirus.
