Coastal ecosystems in nature and art

Coastal ecosystems such as seagrasses and wetlands are diverse and underappreciated habitats that play a crucial role in the health of the planet, including as carbon stores. As part of the 2022 ESRC Festival of Social Science, visitors explored an exhibit of stunning artworks and learned how scientists have teamed up with artists to produce creative interpretations of these majestic seascapes, as well as what we can all do to support these crucial underwater habitats.
