EDI Films

The Social Sciences Division EDI team has produced three short films to foster empathy and understanding of the lived experiences of members of our community from diverse backgrounds. 

Conceived and created by minoritised students and early career staff, these films highlight their everyday experiences at the collegiate University, draw attention to the issues that affect them at Oxford and suggest positive action that can be taken.  

Each film is approximately 5 minutes long and is intended to stimulate reflection and perspective-taking. It is hoped the films will be widely shared through departmental websites and newsletters to raise awareness, and shown at meetings to encourage discussion.
