British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship Briefing

With Professor Gillian Rose, Head of SOGE, and Dr Daisy Ogembo, British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow

The British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship is one of the most competitive funding schemes for early career researchers. It offers three years of funding for researchers, who are within three years of the award of their PhDs, to pursue an independent research project. In the briefing participants will learn more about the scheme, the application and review processes, and critically what works. The briefing comprises of pre-recorded presentations by Prof Gillian Rose, who was on the British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship review panel for four years, and Dr Daisy Ogembo, a current British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow. These presentations will be followed by a live Q&A panel session where participants can ask questions. This is an opportunity to learn about the scheme from the perspective of a seasoned reviewer and a current award holder.

The briefing will provide:

•    Background information on the scheme
