The Social Sciences Division invites you to present a research poster at the Social Sciences Welcome and Induction event for new DPhil students in October. Along with meeting the new cohort of students, the event offers you a unique opportunity to present your research in an informal setting and to network with researchers at different stages of their academic careers. The cost of producing your poster will be covered by the Division and you will able to keep a copy of your poster for use at future conferences.
Prizes will be awarded for the best posters; £50 in Amazon vouchers for the winner, £30 for second place and £20 for third place. Winners will be announced on the evening during the drinks reception.
The event will take place on Thursday October 10th 2024, 16:00 - 18:00 at the Cheng Kar Shun Digital Hub, Jesus College, Market Street, Oxford.
You will need to attend on the day from 16:00 and be available to talk with attendees about your research.
The deadline for poster submission is 27 September 2024.

Posters will need to be A1 size, portrait (not landscape) and must be submitted in PDF format.
All posters should include the University of Oxford logo.
They will be printed for you at no charge by the Division and you can take your poster with you at the end of the evening.
