Oxford University Press transfers £5m per annum to the University to support the John Fell OUP Research Fund. The Fund supports seedcorn and start-up grants, and provides staff and funds to stimulate applications to external funding bodies. There is a termly deadline for applications of Wednesday, 0th Week, at 12 noon. Applications can be submitted for a range of projects, largely to two schemes – small (under £7.5k) and main grants (£7.5k - £40k, with up to £100k available in exceptional circumstances) – via an online application system.
