Museum of Climate Hope
Climate change can be overwhelming for both young people and adults. In a time of uncertainty and loss, how can we cultivate hope and empower action?
The Museum of Climate Hope is a unique museum trail and digital learning experience across Oxford’s gardens, libraries, and museums in which objects are reframed through the themes of resilience, innovation, and transformation.
At the Festival of Social Science, we’ll be showcasing the objects on the trail at the Pitt Rivers – a Hawaiian feather cloak and an Evenki reindeer skin parka – and inviting visitors of all ages to participate in a creative activity to identify and share objects that tell hopeful stories about the relationship between people and the natural world.
