Head of Education Policy and Planning 

As Head of Education Policy and Planning, I am responsible for education policy standards across the division, including developing the Division's educational strategy, quality assurance practices, enhancing and implementing relevant policies, and advising on, and supporting, new initiatives (e.g. new courses, funding opportunities, collaborations). I oversee the Division’s student number planning exercise, have responsibility for the Division's education-related committees (Undergraduate Studies Committee, Graduate Studies Committee, Education IT Committee and Quality Assurance Committee) and represent the interests and aspirations of the Division's departments in wider discussions. I also have oversight for researcher development activities and the smooth operation of the ERSC Grand Union Doctoral Training Partnership.
