Research, Impact & Communications Administrator
As a Research Administrator, I provide administrative and systems support to the Research, Impact and Engagement (RIE) team within the Social Sciences Division. In this role, I assist with the assessment and review of internal and external funding bids, including (but not limited to) the John Fell Fund, the Higher Education Innovation Fund (HEIF), and the ESRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA).
I work closely with the divisional finance team to support RIE activities, procurement, award setup, and financial management. I also hold operational responsibility for organising internal training and briefing sessions, and for supporting the delivery of high-profile divisional events such as the annual Festival of Social Science and the forthcoming IAA Impact Conference, planned for March 2026.
In addition, I gather and prepare data and reports for committees and meetings, and help the team communicate effectively through web content, newsletters, and the monthly funding digests.
