Associate Head of Division (Graduate and Research Training)
Professor Rebecca Surender's responsibilities include strategic leadership for all aspects of Social Sciences graduate and research training, with a particular focus on professional development for postgraduate research students and early-career researchers. She directs the ESRC-funded Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP), which includes Oxford, Open University, and Brunel.
Rebecca joins the divisional team in April 2023 for a one-term handover with Professor Alexander Betts who will leave in mid-2023.
