Graduate Access and Widening Participation Manager
As Graduate Access and Widening Participation Manager, I am jointly responsible for implementing the university’s Graduate Student Access Strategy in the Social Sciences and Humanities, working closely with Alex Peplow. The Strategy covers all stages of the graduate student journey, from outreach and application assessment policies to funding and on-course support. As such, I work with a wide range of colleagues both within the division and across the collegiate university.
Within the Social Sciences, I collaborate with departments on data analysis, policy creation and new initiatives to ensure equity and support for students from disadvantaged or under-represented backgrounds. This approach means each department will have a bespoke strategy in place to respond to their unique contexts.
