Research Methods

Overview

Your first port-of-call for methods training should be your department; divisional research methods training is complementary and supplementary to that offered by departments. At present, it is focussed on support for researchers wishing to work outside their disciplinary mainstream, or to broaden their methods awareness. Opportunities are updated here termly.

If between your departmental and divisional offerings, you still have specific methods training needs, your first port of call should be to check the Graduate Student handbooks for departments you think might have something that would support your needs. If you find reference to a course there, please contact their graduate studies administrator directly. Use the link on the right to find you handbook.

If you are still not able to find what you’re looking for, please contact the Researcher Development team using the link on the right, who may be able to signpost additional opportunities from across the wider university.
