Superpillars Assemble!
Butterfly caterpillars may be small but they play a big role in nature. They face many dangerous challenges whilst growing and developing, and need your help to survive! Visitors to the 2022 ESRC Festival of Social Science enjoyed a fascinating, butterfly-themed trail around the Pitt Rivers Museum to find out how butterflies are more like humans than you might think. Participants made unique butterfly masks to take home and even trained to be a superhero for caterpillars during our energetic, interactive dance workshop!
