How do you do it? 'Balancing’ family life and paid work

In this hands-on, informative and fun event you will be able to share your experiences of juggling daily family life and paid work and learn more about how other families cope, both in the UK and beyond.

Based on award-winning research by Professor Tina Miller, this event explores how plans and intentions to share caring and work can play out in reality when parenthood strikes.

Come and take part in interactive activities, sharing your own experiences and creating your own family/work balance felt 'map', if you'd like to.

You can also add your own experiences to our sticky note comment board, or just enjoy looking at pictorial and other findings from the original study. Together, your experiences will add to our understanding of why work life balance can be so hard to achieve - and what might need to change.

Just drop in - no need to book!
