How to write a funding proposal: a basic introduction

This session is the first of a series of Divisional training aimed at early and mid-career researchers to equip them with the tools to tackle grant writing with (renewed) confidence.

This session is aimed at researchers who have little to no experience with grant writing and would like to know where to start. It will also be an opportunity to meet some members of the Divisional Research, Impact and Engagement team, and the wide range of support that we offer.

In this training session, we will address the very basics of grant writing, as well as give you advice on how to address the most common questions asked by funders. It will not focus on any specific funder or funding scheme but will rather give an overview of how to write successful applications.

This session is NOT open to students.
